Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using MyCVFit ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Your content

You retain ownership of your resume, profile, jobs, and any text you upload or generate ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service (storage, AI generation, exports, sending email to you).

You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

AI-generated output

Tailored resumes, cover letters, outreach drafts, and contact-target suggestions are produced by AI based on your inputs. Output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always review before sending or submitting. You are responsible for what you choose to share with employers, recruiters, or contacts.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to impersonate, harass, spam, or deceive others.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates a third party's privacy.
  • When researching contacts, respect platform terms (e.g. LinkedIn) and applicable privacy laws when you actually reach out.

Third-party services and links

The Service generates links into LinkedIn, Google, and other third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or terms.

Payment

Paid plans are billed via Stripe according to the plan you choose. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job offers, interviews, or any specific outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCVFit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim and (b) USD 50.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
